how to join the the maps together

how do you join the maps together eg when 220.00 in height and the other is 1222.0 in hieght :'(

I would sugest adding some baseboards in between the two parts that are being combined, and add some gradient to it due to the elevation diffrence. Might I suggest about 7-10 base boards if you want a small grade, or about 5 if you want a 4% grade. That is just a rought estimate on grades compared to baseboards.
 
All measurements ar metric (meters above sea level)

One is 720' in elevation and the other route is 4009' in elevation ... that is like joinining Harrisburg Pennsylvania to Denver Colorado. http://convertfeettometers.com/

No ramp or helix will do that.

You would have to raise one layout, and make it flat ... or vice versa ... whichever route is least topographicly easier to re-do the terrain all by hand.
I don't think you can copy paste terrain landforms to another height ... at least I have never been aware of.

Try copy/paste of a large area
