How to edit route assets in Trainz 2019

Hello, novice Trainz user here.

I'm slowly getting into Trainz, specifically the Thomas and Friends stuff. Does anyone have any tips on how to modify routes to my liking? For instance, I have installed the SI3D Sodor Route, I think the version I have is called the Kellstorphe Extension, and I would like to replace Tidmouth Sheds (6 berths) with the 10 berth shed made by WildNorWester, which I have also downloaded. How would one go about doing so? In addition, I'm struggling with the camera controls, so any tips on how to change the camera sensitivity would be much appreciated!

Had to reinstall the SI3D route due to Trainz saving everything on the wrong disk, and today the route doesn't want to be installed properly... Is this normal?

You can change objects in your layout in Surveyor by selecting and deleting them then adding and positioning the replacement object. In TRS19 this is done using the F3 Objects tool or the F4 Track tool. The layer containing the object (F6 Layers tool) must not be locked.

No that is not normal. I do not know what you meant by the "wrong disk" - Trainz (all versions) will install all downloaded and installed assets in your currently identified Local (User) Data Folder. The location of this folder, which is usually on the same drive but at a different location to where the program files are stored, can be found by opening the Trainz Settings options from the TRS19 Launcher and selecting the Install tab. This folder can be moved to a different location, including a different drive, as long as you follow the rules for making the move - don't just use File Explorer to make the move and expect Trainz to know where it has been moved to. The instructions for moving the folder correctly can be found in a link on that Install tab page or on the Trainz Wiki at How_to_Move_Your_User_Data_Folder.

Thank you for these helpful tips, I will try to fiddle with some of these tools and see what I can make of it.

What I meant by wrong disk is that the game is installed on the E-disk and that when I moved all my downloaded trainz assets to the E-disk as well, I didn't understand why they were automatically installed on the C-disk. I have set the Local Data Folder to the C-disk now, but after doing so the route didn't turn out as it did the first time (through a clean install, not by being moved between disks after being installed the first time). Nevertheless, I plan to seek out an alternate route regardless since I honestly prefer a more RWS-esque route, just need to figure out who made it originally.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to me =)
