How to delete problem dependencies

Working on some old stuff I want to reskin I keep running into an old problem, deleting problem dependencies. I've tried removing them via editing the config file or using content creator plus but in the end the asset is still looking for the missing asset. I've even tried changing the asset to another with no luck. What am I doing wrong?

It depends on what the dependencies are part of. If it's a route or session, use Delete Missing Assets in Surveyor (bear in mind that this will only work for deleted dependencies).

For everything else, dependencies can be removed from the config file, but watch out. Some dependencies appear twice in the config.txt file - once near the top, and once in the kuid-table section.

Thanks Shane, that did the trick. Now the L&A can go ahead with one of it's (reskinned) experimental locomotives!
