How to change asset texture in TS12

I would like to use Water Spline 15m,<kuid:381430:2298> But would like to use one of the other colours in his library.
Could someone explain how this is done.

Water Spline 50m wide for ponds, streams, puddles etc. The water is glassy-still and reflective, independent of the built-in water and can be colored to the user's choice by altering the file 'watera.tga'. A small library of basic colours is included.
