How to add a tracksound?

Davie_UCF

Here since 2001, Trainz!!
This simple. I want to add a clickity clack to some track. I know this sound seems to have been removed for a few versions from a lot of track but i'd like to have a play with it and have different sounds for different areas.

Is there a way I can add the original sound to a track or is there any other sounds I can get?

Thanks

I think it's the RTO track, just add a siding and the track sound can be heard on all the route.
Romanian trainz studio, trs2006, trackside, Sine CFR v2.0.

Thanks, wow it really makes a difference. I did think you could define the sound to individual tracks though?

Individual wagons yes, I can't see/hear several track sounds working at one time.
Wait for someone who knows more on the subject.

Well, I just realised, i'm using HP bridge track for my bridges and when I go over the bridges that sound plays.. Also off the bridges the sound from the track you reccomended plays. So somethings possible. Maybe if a track has a sound on it, it overrides the fact the Russian track is playing on everything.

Maybe, but unless your building a route from scratch I can't see it being much fun. Main line-sound A (rts), branch-sound B, sidings-sound C, bridges- already done.

I altered RTS tracksound numerals and got a slower, more in sync track click clack sound.

I got tired of RTS Tracksound, so I saved it as CDP (for later on reinstallation) and deleted the tracksound asset.

Hint: -disablerailjointsound line in the config file will stop Trainz builtin clickity-clack tracksound from showing up.

What author, asset name, or kuid is: HP bridge track ?

Cm search, category=track, keyword=bridge. Included are 5 by josepav, they are the hp sound ones. kuid 46162:38060/3/4/6+7.

I am suprised that very few creators have created a tracksound or bridgesound ... a very important part of Trainz.

It would be very interesting to learn how to be able to edit/add these tracksounds to your desired track.

Another track sound for you, CTA elevated track=353138:1281. It's from sniper297 kuid 522774:100066, have a look in the config.

I love the bridgesound track, makes a change.

And I did think the auran clickity clack was disabled now anyway? Cos I never hear it, that's why I made this thread, because I sortof wanted it back.

If you need more info, try here

couldn't find the thread where it explains so, but since one of the HP track has, only rail, could i find anywhere just sleepers (ties), as trackside, spline or something like that ... i have searched for a while now but i couldn't find anything :( ... found sleepers for rail joints HERE (look for Joante de Eclisare) but those aren't good for my needs, and on the same site at downloads > sounds, you can find "Bogeysound 22-96 / AVA 200" (you can use these to implement them as tracksound or bogey, but these are for passenger coaches, but they sound okay even for freight) and "Bogeysound Vagon Marfă" (these are for freight wagons, these sounds you can use them just for bogeysounds) there are al so the PSR on DLS, but these cover un any other track / bridge / bogey sound
