Title says it all.
How does one delete the builtin consists in the surveyor consist tab.

I disable almost all of the crappy, cartoon colored builtin content, and I'm finding it a bit annoying to have to scroll through consists built with content I've disabled.

I can delete my own of course, but the option is greyed out for builtin content.

Thanks for your time,

I must have missed them in the content manager. I'll check again.

I thought there was a "consist library" feature, or rule in older trainz versions. It's been a while though, so I'm rusty.

The consist library is obsolete now and it doesn't do what you thought it did. It's found under the Driver Rules and was used in conjunction with the Quick Drive. Since N3V has introduced the Trains pullout tab in Driver now, there is no need to manage consists in Quick Drive anymore.

You can not delete built-in assets ... However you can rename them

You can delete built-in routes, (I Think), but I wouldn't do that

If you place an "A" prefixing an assets name, ie: "A PRR Route", or "A PRR Flatcar", "A Alto Tower", it will show up near the very top of the surveyor picklist ... likewise if you rename an asset with the prefix numeral "9" ie: "9 AU Coal 5000 ton", or "9 Adler", it will show up near the bottom of the surveyor picklist

You can't do that in T:ANE. The built-in content was locked down since TS12 SP1 Build 61388

But you can precede all your own Route name with a lower case a followed by a blank eg: a My Route, a Another Route.
That will force all your desired ARoutes to the top of the list,

I agree with the bright colors. The most annoying is the use of the max bright white. The author goes to the trouble of texturing and then uses a default max bright white which obliterates the texture. Also there are very few structures painted in max bright and those that are, soon fade. Some fine assets out there that are obscured by odd coloring.

PS: I use numbered assets I want at the top of the list. If you want a break you could make one or two routes with simple names like 90,91,etc. which would serve as a visual break between your favorites and the commercial products.

I figured it out. I was missing the painfully obvious, failing to see there is actually a consist category in the content manager.

I disabled all the builtin consists and the list in surveyor now contains only my consists.

Thanks for the replies.
