how do you save your built routes before reloding game if you have any bugs in progra

i needed to reload the 2010 trainz and i cant find my personal built routes anymore...... i did not erase the damaged trainz program i just wrote over it .....is there a way to save personal made routes somewhere on computer or disk so they will not be loss in case of program failure... i am tired of rebuilding layouts..... and you know how long that takes:'(some one talk to me please!!!

You can save them to a cdp using the cm once in a while. You then reload them after you load the program. The other way would be to load the new program into a different folder and copy the old content folder over in to the new one.
