How do you replace a mesh?

Dear all:

I have tried for the last several days to edit and replace the missing meshes for cincysouthern railway's V&O c424's and unfortunately have not found a way to make these engines work for trs 2004. I do believe I have all the required dependencies ( trainz objects doesn't say I need anything). I have tried to follow the instructions listed on the dls page plus help from others ( and a very big THANK YOU for all the help!!!! ), and have still come up with nothing. Is there any tutorials, step by step directions or anybody who can lead me through this process?

I downloaded the C424 into TRS2004 and checked it with TO. It says I'm missing alias kuid:58843:53 and the hornsound kuid:261222:1053. I downloaded and installed kuid:58843:53 and then edited the C424 config.txt to replace the hornsound with a builtin horn sound kuid:-1:42003103. The loco shows in TRS2004.
