If you want some cars with lots of detail, and not just scenery assets made using the Driveable Superadaptor, there are some excellent trucks on the DLS. Search in Content Manager for Name=truck and Category=Train Vehicle. Also be sure to search for Name=Trailer and Category=Train Vehicle.
For buses, andi06 has some heavily scripted buses on the DLS. They feature opening doors, working headlights and changeable liveries and advertisments. Search for Daimler CW Single Deck and Daimler CW Double Deck. They are UK buses.
And if you want cars, my 1963 VW Beetle has many details. Animated bogeys, headlights, working windscreen wipers (they work outside too!), working pedals and gear lever in the cab, and the radio plays Herbie The Love Bug's theme tune. Also included are over 20 different liveries. The texture asset is large, but worth the wait.
For road, search for RoadTrack on the DLS, which is Category=Track. There are many types of road, and some bridges.
