How do I load a custom avatar.

I recently edited the BL2 avatar so that it looks like my favorite locomotive. The only problem is that now I don't know how to select it as my avatar. Can someone please help me.

The answer is simple: you can't.

You can try submitting it through helpdesk to see if they will approve it as an avatar....if not, you're out of luck.

crud, well i submitted it to the helpdesk. Here is the avatar btw, just so you guys can see it.

I think you will need to remove the pink background, you will notice that all the avatars have a transparent background. I think that was one of the conditions that were applied to making a custom avatar.
