How do I get these add-ons to work?

Hi all, i have TS12 and I have been trying to install this engine from the download station: https://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS_viewasset.php?AssetID=249689

It installs in content manager, then says it has missing dependencies. I went to the download page, looked at the required dependencies, and downloaded all of them except for three other ones(the only reason why I didn't download them was because it was telling me they were invalid). I started the game up, went into railyard and it is on the list. I clicked on the loco to view it and nothing shows up.

Then, I found this other place that also had that loco and a bunch of others: http://blawnoxlocomotiveworks.blogspot.com/p/downloads-awvr.html

I started with the AWVR AC4400EV (2-Loco Pack; 777 & 767) at the top of the page. I downloaded everything in the links below the picture and it installed the .cdp in the content manager, BUT it says it has missing dependencies! I tried starting the game up like with the other engine, went into railyard and they\are on the list. I clicked on the locos to view them and nothing shows up. What am I doing wrong and how can I get them to install correctly???

Thanks,

ok. I just got into the trainz program. It says it's out of date and that I can download the latest patches from the forums. I went to auran announcements (in the forums) and found the patch updates to 49922. I downloaded it, ran it and it asks me to manually find Trainz.exe because it says this: Unable to determine Trainz installation path. Requesting user to specify installation locationI found it clicked on it and it says

This patch file is not applicable to your current installation version.
No valid patch operation was specified. Patching aborted.

Now, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks

There's actually an even quicker way of doing it.

Firstly, make sure you have entered your username and password onto the Planet Auran tab in the Trainz Options box.

At the bottom of the box is a Patch Trainz button. Click it, then click Run Patcher when prompted.

If your firewall software asks you whether to allow or block communication with the Internet, you need to click Allow/Unblock.

The remaining part of the patching should now be automatic - if it does not, click Apply Update if it is not greyed out.

Once it is done, you will then have a Close button to click.

ok before I updated it, I realized that I forgot 1 dependency for the AWVR 777 and 767 locos. i forgot to install the horn sound .cdp file. After I installed that, they worked and showed up. Now, all I have is the AWVR 1206 from the DLS. I updated the patch version succesfully to 49922. Now what?

It may be worth posting any KUIDS that are unknown. Bear in mind that right-clicking an asset and clicking Download will pick up any missing dependencies that are on the Download Station.

I don't know what you mean by posting any kuids that are unknown. Sorry. i right clicked the asset in the content manager and clicked download. It didn't change anything.
Thanks.

On the same menu as the Download option, there is a View Dependencies option. Click this, then post any KUIDS that have a ? next to them.

since there were missing dependencies for the AWVR 1206, I deleted the download (thinking I would try it again), so I'm re downloading it right now. i'll give you the unknown KUIDS once it's done.

In a different download, (USO800 AWVR F-350 (NED with WILL) Train car https://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS_viewasset.php?AssetID=191200)
I downloaded this F-350 and it's missing dependencies. I downloaded all the dependencies listed on the F-350 download page....... Here are the unknown KUIDS for the F-350 download - <kuid:452752:1025>
<kuid:452752:1105>

Now what do I do?

Thanks
