How do I change the build stream in Trainz 2019?

I want to changed the build stream to the regular one. How do I do that?

I am guessing that you are currently on the TRS19 SP5 beta stream and want to go back to the non-beta SP4 (retail release) stream.

In the Trainz Launcher --> Trainz Settings --> Install Tab --> Change Trainz update stream then select the stream appropriate to your version. BUT this will only stop you getting any more beta updates, I don't believe it will turn your SP5 beta back into an SP4 retail version (I have never reversed the process so I don't know).

However, it is likely that the very next release you receive (beta or not) will be the new retail version of TRS19 SP5 so I don't think you will gain anything at this point except you will not start receiving the TRS19 SP6 beta releases when/if they start rolling out.

Nothing will happen to your content if you switch between beta and normal versions. Your user data folder will be the same.

I believe any routes created in the beta version are a version higher then the current retail release which would make them non-compatible. Unless I am mistaken.

You are correct but if he simply returns his TRS19 to the normal stream it will remain at its current SP5 beta build and route building will not be affected.

If he completely deletes his SP5 beta TRS19 and reinstalls the retail SP4 TRS19 then he will be unable to load any routes or sessions created in the SP5 beta until the retail SP5 is released and his install is updated.

Hmm, I don't see an option to change Trainz update stream.
How can I get SP5 rc then?

There should be two more buttons under "Instructions for moving your content". One is "Check for Trainz Updates", and the other is "Change Trainz update stream". Maybe getting lost in the dark theme?

If you are using the Steam version, the stream changing probably isn't available.

Correct. The option to switch to the beta stream to get the RC beta is not available in Steam. You will have to wait until Steam updates TRS19 from SP4 to SP5.

And what happens if I delete the offline installer folders? They are zipped.
