open the route you want to add the loco to
select create session
Open the rolling stock tab on the menu on the RH side of the screen
On the Left hand side of the page, at the top there will be 4 small icons
Hover the mouse over them and select the one called 'Content Search filter'. Its the second from the right
On the small window that comes up, type in the name of the loco you are looking for. If its there and you have typed it correctly it will come up in the Tab menu on the RH side. Click on it and place it on the track where you want it. After that it should show in surveyor in your system.
Then just select and place the other rolling stock you want from the list in the rolling stock tab.
Use the undo and redo options at the top LH side of the screen as you need to and just make sure that when you place each wagon etc they are close together so the will be 'hooked up' when you exit and save the session. Cheers
Edit' If it shows up red on the RH tab menu then it has errors
Hi nimec,
Thanks for your help its been very useful.
No wounder I was getting know where fast.
OK this is where I'm at.
Every thing was going fine until I got to the part where I type the name in.
Just to say that the train formation is a 3 car, 1 driving car with engine, 1 driving car without engine and 1 center car.
When I typed in the first car (class 80 DMBS) it appeared on the right so I dragged it on to the track.
Now is that car surpost to show up sitting on the track because nothing is there.?
Same with the other 2 cars.
Something else I noticed, as I was typing out the name, as I was half way through I did notice that in the right hand side the names of the other cars showed up and 2 were in red until I had typed in the full name.
Having said that the one that did not show in Red, when placed on the track did not show either.
A bit difficult to explain but think that's it so do you think I may have errors on 2 of them.?
Also should the good one still show up on the track.
I was not sure if to save at that point but I did look in consists and they where not there anyway.
Any idea's.
Thanks,
ed.
