Horn Command for AI traffic

In my session creations I would like to have my AI trains signal with horns at the crossings. The built-in horn command that you lay on the track seems to only give the horn a very short tone and not a prolonged blast. Is there a way to have it loop when triggered? This just is not very realistic. Is there another option?

Thanks
David

Hi David,

There are some invisible horn signals used in Sherman Hill V2 that are spaced along the track to give three blasts a space then two blasts when a train is approaching a crossing. The name is "Fischio Whistle Scripted" kuid:57230:10003 They don't seem to be on the DLS but come with the Sherman Hill V2 route. You might be able to find them with google.

Cheers,

What you are looking for is B&M Whistle Post Warning Sequencer (FP) <KUID2:204652:100547:1> on the DLS it will give you the correct sequence of whistle blast when approach a RR crossing.

I will, thanks

Search For Autohornz.
It's an invisible triangle that can be placed on the tracks anywhere you wish, but remember to ensure it is facing in the direction you want the train to trigger it.
