HOG Textures

Hi all. I am confused about HOG textures and how to get them intosurveyor. This is what it looks like in map:

However, this is what it looks like on the ground:

Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks!

Thanks, it worked! What is the legend for the different colors? Is light blue the railroad, red the streets, dark blue water?

Blinding aquamarine is the railroad, red is the road, dark blue is the river, not sure what the dull teal is, maybe a creek. As you can see you do not have to follow the lines exactly, if there is a better route available (I don't want my track in the river!).

I can tell you how to get rid of that Confounded Blinding Florescent Aqua color, and substitute it with a more pleasant to the eye ballast like color.

And yes, HOG lines are oftentimes crooked, bent, and way off by +/- 20ft in all directions, with rail lines down in river channels, or way up on mountain sides ... they are a rough general guide.

Use the mnimap (with texture on).

In conjunction with Google Earth, or any topo, or map, you can find where you are.

You can mark that location on your minimap, by placing some renameable building, and renaming it to what city it is in.

You can zoom way across the minimap by clicking on a different area of the minimap.
