Hog Textures help

i have decided to make the route from harvard to chicago using the hog textures from the DLS.
However I have a problem, when I zoom out to map I see this-

But when I zoom in, none of those textures are there, the terrain is blank. What do I need to do, in order to see those lines on the terrain?
NOTE----I am using TS12 for this.

Maybe a silly question, but do you have the HOG textures installed? I have not yet used 2012 for a project like this.

I downloaded them and i have them. But I dont know what to do with them. I know they are needed for this. (I propably should of mentioned that earlier ) woops!

So now I need to know, how do you install hog textures for TS12?

G'day Amtrak72,

The HOG files you downloaded should be in form of a *.cdp file. If this is the case, then it is a simple matter of just opening Content Manager and using the File>Import CDPs option from the File Menu, browse to where the file is and 'install' it. There is no doubt that the HOG textures are NOT installed in Trainz TS12 if you are 'seeing' that which you are describing...

...if the HOG textures you have are NOT in *.cdp format, then follow this link to download them as such. It is actually possible that you have downloaded the entire HOG program files, where, in reality, all you need is the texture set...

...and follow my instructions above to install them and ALL will be well the next time you open the route...

Thanks Jerker for the Help. I was also just looking at them in 2012 and they will show up with a "warning" symbol for a number of reasons such as their build number is 1.3.

As they only show as a "warning" there should be no reason why they would not work without trying to fix them.
