Hey Why CSX and NS Cancelled Steam Program

from what i know csx steam excurison were the chissie steam spiceal with READING 2101 the later C&O 614 and for NORFOLK SOUTHERN there steam program had the N&W 1218,611 and SOUTHERN 4501. ns cont there steam program untill 1994 with the last run of the 611.

CSX is not Chessie. Chessie was way more awesome.

Spiceal? Is that a new brand of seasoning?

I don't even know how to make heads or tails of this anyway.

I realy want to read this... dpfan1: tell us what you would do if you where CEO of CSXT; give as much detail as you would like.

JRT

i thought csx ran on ex frisco tracks?

The St. Louis-San Francisco, or "Frisco" became part of Burlington Northern in the 1980s. That info is straight off Wikipedia. Use it in the future.

The majority of 1522's career was run over Burlington Northern and later BNSF. Though 1522 did run on a few other railroads in its second career, CSX was never one of them

@Dpfan1, do us all a favor and...

...STOP with all this malarky!!!

He'll never understand it unless it's a railroad signal. So:

dpfan1: STOP. CEASE. DO NOT CONTINUE WITH YOUR RAMBLINGS

A dpfan1 post in the General Forum...

A post that is truly a classic:

"it is should be may 10th because it is the anninvirsey of the competion of the transconetital railroad on may 10th 1869."

I ran it through Google translator.... and it crashed the Google servers worldwide.

I am sorry Google, I will not do this again.

Somewhere I recall dpfan1 saying he was 14 years old. Is this a true indication of our educational system?

Hopefully, he will mature.

We must also recognize that there may be a condition (-medical-emotional-other-) of which we are not aware. Please consider that when posting your reply to a post.

Thanks and have fun,
