Help!

I tried installing the steam soundz into one of my steam locos but all that i hear when i go into driver is silence. I put the kuid (<kuid:123250:1107>) into the engine sound but it didnt work. Please help?

I can't assist in your problem but the addition of a few words describing your actual problem in the title - besides 'Help' - would be a big help for people just browsing the forum panels.

I suggest something like 'Help - steam sounds not heard' or something like that.

It also needs to be placed in the kuid table at the bottom of the config file. You also need to remove the existing sound kuid and SAVE IT.

Ok. I did that. The enginesound Kuid is in the Enginesound, and the kuid table and it's still not working.

That engine sound is intended for TRS2009 and up. If you are trying to install it in a locomotive from an earlier version it probably won't work. However, if you change the TRAINZ build number in the engines config.txt to 2.5, it just might do the trick.

Did that and still not working. Its the gs-4. And im using SteamSoundz for large american locos on it. Thanks anyway.
