Help with using Basemaps

I am trying to get a base map setup of my home town into Trainz 2010. I have the 1000m set downloaded, copied my first map to paint and re-sized it to 1024x1024, then saved it in the correct location with the required name. When I open Trainz, it just shows up as the blue base map, no image. Any Ideas?

Is the image a jpg, and did you commit the edited asset ?

If you re-open the basemap asset in "edit in explorer", does your image display there ?

If so: rename the username line in the config file to what ever name you wish ... commit the asset
