Help with CM2.0 and TS09 Sp1

I have a question about CM 2.0

and how to dl the 50 new TS09 textures

I downloaded TS09_27 from a download link, inside 09's community articles page,,,and it shows up FINE

Now when trying CM2.0 on sp1, I am able to download the files TS09_01 and _02

but after downloaded they dont show up,,only the one TS09_27 from the dl link worked!

I am set to autocommit,,files download ok, but dont then show up...???

what am I doing wrong?

again, files download thru cm2 ok, but dont show in trainz up after launching.....and autocommit is ON!

camebeloc, you are doing nothing wrong.

I have experienced this same problem trying to download UMR 2009. It had trouble getting the proper downloading file for it and it did all of its dependencies and wouldn't download. Didn't matter from the DLS or when I got it on CM2. After about 4 days and some new things had showed up on the CM2 it all of a sudden started downloading. Keep giving them a try each day. Could be from some of the DLS problems that Auran has had lately.

Remember 2009 is still work in progress.

but mine DOWNLOAD fine,,,,they dont APPEAR is the problem and an auran new texture to boot!

yea,,I am assuming(when working right) it's simply:

CM2.0>search & download file>start trainz(with auto commit ON) is it not?
well..
I downloaded 3 times now, and it dont show,,,
(sucks too, cause its SO slow DL speeds!)

and it shows that red highlighting,,,,what does that mean,,,,? didnt think an auran file would have an error...lol

any more help when it comes let me know please im stumped

After you download anything, it always pays to click the Open for Edit tab in CM2 to verify that it did commit. It it shows open for edit, manually commit it. Then right click the asset and verify that View Errors and Warnings is greyed out. Also that the status column doesn't show any error symbols.

but I was expecting a new texture for 09 to be 'working ok'...lol

ok an UPDATE:

I ended up trying a few different OTHER files from dls, and they do finish downloading to a green checkmarked box, then the logo icon does change to a laptop, meaning it looks like their 'in' ok...

so, CM2.0 IS WORKING, but not on these new TS09 50 HR textures....it says unknown content error......no matter which I download thru cm2.0.

The one available via the url link on the community pages article in TS09(TS09_27), WORKS!!

It means it hasn't actually downloaded because it says it doesn't know what it is or where it is. That is what the red box over the item is. That is why you can't find it because it never got there. Same as my attempts at UMR 2009.

As I am just starting with TS 2009, I don't know what it means yet but I downloaded these textures and they appear as a route in Surveyor.

Maybe someone with more experience in TS 2009 can explain the significance of this.

09 is great, but if ya cant get content in,,

then why bother? cmon auran, we need this fixed!

ok found some info at this 'dev site' I found online

IT IS A PROBLEM WITH CM2.0

the textures and many items are NOT commiting right for MANY users

because of compression errors and more.....and I THINK that auran is working HARD on this right now,,,or should be!

I will wait for the next patch and hope we can import content into 09!
