I know I've already posted about this very recently and Kieran (captainkman) has been very helpful, but I'm afraid my problem remains unsolved [insert long string of expletives here].
I followed the tutorial on how to do this. I used a recording of a Virginian 3 chime on a Cass Shay (I forget the number) and made a horn.wav, horn_start.wav, horn_loop.wav, and idle 1.wav files (I use Audacity). I used CCP to create the config file. I have made sure all of the files were 22000hz, 16bit, and were mono (not stereo). And I still get the same results: the whistle works fine if I'm in the cab of the loco, but complete silence outside of it, and the bell is non-existent regardless of where I am.
This is really frustrating for me because myself and a friend of mine have several recordings of some great whistles (IMO) that I would love to make available for Trainz, but I just can't seem to get it to work. Any help is appreciated!
