Help Using FRAPS

Loaded my route into TS12 61388 and selected the Quick Drive mode. Loaded FRAPS into the computer. When I depressed the F9 key to begin recording, the DSS control panel in the lower right-hand corner disappears. I can use the "H" and "B" keys for horn and bell respectively but cannot control the forward or rear motion of the consist. How can I "recover" the DSS panel when recording with FRAPS. Hope this is the appropriate forum site for this question.

Within FRAPS, you can re-assign the FRAPS hot-keys to something other than what Trainz uses. I forget what I set mine to (and I'm not at home right now), but maybe CTRL-F9 to start capture.

Edit: I have my FRAPS set to use Alt-F9 as the hot-key to start recording video.

Thanks. Changed my FRAPS record "button" to F8. TS12 button F9 brings up the DCC panel.
