This shows in 2006. I just download the subway routes from trainz commuter rail.

I'd be willing to bet that the map file is missing.

Which may be non-recoverable, unless you get it from the original creator.

I ran into two Chesapeke & Ohio routes on the DLS (from Model Railroader Trackplans) and their Map File was missing also.

When you open up the route in "Edit in Surveyor" is the only one single file there, named: "Config" ?

If the 4 other files are missing ... I think, you are done, sunk.:mop: :'( :mop:

Possibly opening it in the CCP (content creator plus) will tell you: "Region" or "Water" kuids are not present, and are: <NULL> , and must be specified ?

Hmm, I seem to remember this happened when the route was build with trs2006 plus SP1 and the user version of trs2006 wasn't patched.
If this is the case backup your local folder and then reïnstall trainz and run the SP1 patch before running trainz in any way. Patching trs2006 was a pain, but well worth the efford.

My TRS2006 Build 3337 requires no SP whatsoever, as it is the last build.

If I installed SP1 would that mess up my installation ?

I doubt that it would make things re-appear, or fix faulty or missing files ?

I have never been able to get the cincysouthernrwy- Chesapeake & Ohio routes to appear because the only file is the config ... and no other files are present.

CCP says that the: water kuid, and region kuid are not spcified, and they are <NULL> (which I edited ... to no avail).

Still the .gnd, .obs, .bmk, and .trk are missing.

Well, I don't remember what the highest build number is for 2006. I think it had also to do with wich version you had. I for instance had the UK Just Trains version and it highest build number was 3092 if I recall correctly.
Patching 2006 meant, for me at least, that one had to uninstall trainz and then reïnstall and immediately patch it, that because once trainz had run the patch wouldn't work. Beside this you of course needed to switch off virus scanner, firewall, internet connection and things like virtual cd-drives, if any.

In short, if you don't need to, don't, is my advise. :hehe:

I in fact posted this because I remembered seeing that image legolistic posted a few times myself in those days.
