There are 2 builtin embankments in TS2009 but they both have tracks on them.
Tracks w embankments 1,<kuid2:316:38030:1>
Tracks w embankments 2,<kuid2:316:38031:1>

Before I'd offer advice on this, I'd need to know exactly what kind of an embankment you are trying to make? In my experience the advice is highly dependent upon the exact situation you are trying to solve. Such items as the exact type of embankment you are trying to achieve, or the exact placement of the assets nearby will affect how to achieve the embankment.

Hi, I am trying to make a rail embankment/incline to run from 0.00 level to the rail connection points on "Off Center Bridge 1".

I am using this bridge as I wish to have a drivable boat (yuma Paddle boat) run under the bridge at a water based track level of -1.67.

I can lay the track to an from the bridge and get a good incline, but when trying to place terrain under the track I can not get a smooth running surface.

The embankment/incline ends up with either steps and stairs or when viewed from water level it has area's of unsupported rail (like it has the ground eroded from under it.)

It is probably the most simple thing to do, but for some reason I am totaly stumped.

Thanks

Ray.:)

This may seem like an odd way to do this, but I've had good results by laying down roads perpendicular to and crossing the track, setting the road spline points to the required elevations and then using the terrain smooth button on the roads.
The ground comes up to meet the roads and remains smooth. Then I delete the roads. The ground stays where it is.

Hi Chris.

Problem solved thanks though for your input.:)
