Help on Train Simulator 2014

does not make bogies
Hey guys I have recently purchased TS2014 and have a few questions. Are there supposed to be the updated GEVOS in this? I opened the game and it has the gevos that came with TS2012. I know there was an update in TS2013 and I have seen people with these updated GEVO's in 2014. I am curiouse as is this a built in thing or do you have to purchase these?

I've a feeling you are referring to a version of Railworks/Train Simulator, which is not marketed or made by N3V.

You will need to ask on a Railworks/Train Simulator forum to get a proper answer for that specific question.

I ave two shortcuts the 2012 one and the 2014 one. I bought the disks.

If you can take the TS2014 disk back to the store, if you bought it from one, do so. Then let Steam upgrade TS2012 to 2014. It will do so automatically. It did for me.

Saves money and means all the DLC and other things you had in TS2012 will be kept.

For future Failworks questions, Steam has its own forum which are very helpful provided you are polite. Though I am sure being polite is not an issue for you.

Kieran.

Have a look at this video clip from Train Simulator 2013 and see if this GEVO is different from yours?

Train Simulator always loads through "Steam" and updates itself every couple of weeks so you should always have the latest version.

What you can do, from the Steam menu, is right click on "TRAIN SIMULATOR" and choose "Local Files" and then "Verify Integrity of Local Cache" - sometimes you have outdated, corrupted or missing files which Steam will download and install again.

Hope that helps.

The product is made by a different company www.railsimulator.com it is a totally different simulator. You should use their support system for your questions.

ok, so I i got those but still nothing. Im going to the other forums you guys were talking about now to figure this out. thanks guys!

I hadn't realised until recently that the guy who owns UKTS is now working as a Project Manager for Rail Simulator (or whatever they are called now). No wonder other sims get such short shrift over on UKTS. The editorial and moderation style over there leaves much to be desired in my view, and is very largely driven by the commercial relationships of the site owner.

If you are posting there, you need to be aware that there are a large number of things you can't even mention without getting slapped down.
