Help, misbehaving electrons OR graphic misalignment (North Walpole Roundhouse)

Finally getting around to working with T:ANE and back to trainzing as my schedule is now permitting.

So, I discovered Bendorsey's "<kuid2:210518:11701:1> North_Walpole_Roundhouse" (perfect for what I was doing) and having installed it I set in place in surveyor (T:ANE build 78667). Only to have the turntable bridge mysteriously render a meter or two under the pit floor. Aghast, I started the usual process to deal with such things.

To date:
  • Test in new route, sesion, and board (still doing it)
  • Delete and re-download (still does it)
  • Check that the build # is up to date (Yes, 78667)
  • Check forums for specific problem (no luck)
  • Tried a broader search (now remembering I hate search engines)
  • Bang head on desk (Ouch!)
  • PW content creator (nice note back, net answer; ask forum)
  • Writing post (yep, that brings us up to date)

So does anyone have any theories as to what might be happening and/or how to fix it?

Any issues with the basic graphic model I will send off to bendorsey, but I will try scripting fixes.

Thanks,
Tswenson

Is this in T:ANE I presume. If it is it's related to the attachment points, and the issue has been fixed in Service Pack 1.

I'm not in HF2 right now so I can't check it there. If you are not running HF2, then I suggest upgrading to that build and giving this asset a try.

It's a nice asset by the way and will fit another project I'm working as well.

John,

Yes, T:ANE with the "Hotfix 2" (build #78667) update, I edited the original post to clarify this.

I think much of Bendorsey's stuff ends up in the "sweet, I could use this, it's nice" list of many of us.

I figured as much... It works fine in the Service Pack 1 beta right now so that's good news once that's released.

I too think highly of Ben and his content and use it all the time myself. I see this particular roundhouse ending up in North Adams, MA as it looks similar to the same one that once existed there many years ago.

John,

I imagine they may have been made to the same plans, as railroads liked to standardize things. If I remember, I'll ask a friend whom may know.
