Hi there,

Installed Trainz 2012for my first experience yesterday. Completed tutorials and read munual. Certain things appear to be missing in manual such as "run around train" and move to other loco. How do I do fulfill these instructions. Sorry if this is too simple but I am just learning.

Hi paddy, and welcome to Trainz! I would suggest registering your version of the game up there at the top where it says "Register". Once that is done a station stop will appear next to your name, and then everyone will know you are using a legitimate copy, and help will be forthcoming.

See if you have patched your game to the latest version (currently 49922).
You find this number on the start-up screen in the bottom right corner.
To patch your game, go to options, find where you can enter your username and password and click the patch button you will find there.

Looking at the type of error, it's likely that the lack of memory is to blame. What are your full system specifications?

Shane

P.S. Please create a new thread for any further issues, as this thread is related to a different issue.

This thread is odd.

Who walks into some random thread and ask a question for help on a topic that isn’t related to the original thread? Where did Paddy256 go? Why don’t you guys suggest the importance of not going into random threads to ask questions unrelated to that thread? You guys seem sticklers about everything else…. But that’s okay?

I did mention further up regarding creating a new thread. Last time I tried to do forum etiquette quite a few forum veterans disagreed with me.

That's good - I still feel it's going to be an uphill battle though. I have noticed though that some of the other users agree with at least some of what I believe in though.

I just freeze them out, if they can't figure out how to register their serial number I figure they're not worth talking to.

Hi trainz team,

Thanks for all you replies and assistance.

As I am in Australia i an out of time sync with most of you, I will register my product key later tonight or in the morning. I believe this will show that I am the genuine atricle. Have a good evening

Paddy
