Hi all.
I have had Trainz 2019 for a while but have only recently started using it in ernest. My history is in HO modelling and I had 9 x 6 metre layout. However, I also have chronic rheumatoid arthritis so I have got to the point of no modelling and using instead. I have now upgraded to Trainz plus.
I was a professional photographer in a previous life ( as well as a software tester - for my sins
), and I’ve just upgraded my photo editing machine to a 2020 iMac with 80 GB memory (you can never have too much memory in Photoshop), an AMD Radeon Pro 5700 graphics card, 1 TB SSD, and 4TB NVMe SSD on Thunderbolt 3. It goes great with Trainz.
I love Trainz and thank N3V for having a Mac version, and look forward to Metal support. It has filled the hole that was left after giving up modelling. I also thank the user base for having this great resource.
I’d be interested in what other Mac users have for Trainz controllers as I find the keyboard and mouse tiring after a time.
I look forward to chatting with you in future.
Cheers
Steve
