As you know from the first line is that i am new, so i am wondering, other than Jointed rail what are the other good Payware/Freeware sites to get the goods at? (northamerican content)

Well hello there! You should consider registering your version of Trainz, you'll find you get more answers when that's done. Have a look through the Freeware and Payware forums for those sites you seek.

Ok, i will go to the site and register my Trainz 2012. thanks for the quick and kind replys!

i have only played a demo of trainz before and that was a few years ago so some learning is due.....

This simulator is quite a different experience from RW (yes i am also a RW user, and i like it....and i also like TZ)

i can't wait to try out the multiplayer, i have heard only good things from what i have heard about multiplayer.

New guy questions

Instead of starting a new thread, or trying to look for one with answers because i am lazy i will keep using this one.

Multiplayer -- For the past 2 days i have had this game i have seen no multiplayer sessions, am i doing something wrong, or is multiplayer really that dead?

It's a bit stillborn, got it in an incubator and doing CPR on it.

There's one part of the problem, best way to get a bunch of guys together is to schedule a specific route, multiplayer session, and time in advance. At the moment everyone is waiting for someone else to host multiplayer so they can join, unfortunately someone else is waiting for somebody else to host and somebody else didn't buy TS12. :hehe: Seriously, I suspect it will take at least another year before it really kicks off, not many have TS12 AND are interested in multiplayer, TS Mac multiplayer, assuming it works at all, is not compatible with TS12 multiplayer, TS12 multiplayer has had a number of teething problems and very few are even trying to create multiplayer sessions yet, the list goes on. Like anything new it's gonna take time to work the kinks out.
