HELLLLP!!!

Alright, got the new computer up and running, but I can't download the digital copy of trainz 12. Anyone on here right now willing to help me get through this?

To make more sense of this, when I try to set it up, it tells me the following promt:

setup needs the next disk

please insert disk 1 and click OK

The path I have set up to is this C:/user/mylastname/windows/Temporary Internet Files, blah blah blah.

I've even attempted to change the path, and it still doesn't work.

If someone would be willing to talk me through this, preferably over the phone, I won't bother you after I get this set up.

I'd just like to download the game and I have a feeling once I get talked through this, I can remember how I did it to download the add-ons and what not.

PS, Just got this computer today and all I want is Trainz on here.

I'm assumin you have downloaded the files from Planet Auran, they must be on your hard drive to install. There should be a setup.exe file and 5 *.bin files, and they should all be in the same folder on your hard drive - this is important. If, when they are DL'd you cannot see the file extensions, click "Tools" menu in Windows Explorer, "Folder Options" and untick the check box that says "Hide file extensions for known file types" on the second tab. Then, R-click on setup.exe and click "Run as administrator". When the install starts, Browse (the little button with "..." next to the text box at the top) to the folder you DL'd to and the install will proceed. Because the setup and the *.bin files are in the same folder, install will find them.

Apparently you did not back up your previous installation on portable media. Makes the transfer much easier.
