Helena, Montana Train Show and Swap Meet

Hey Montana Trainzers! I've taken the liberty to start this thread as a reminder that the annual train show and swap meet in Helena is approaching rapidly. This year, it takes place on Sunday, April 28th at the civic center.

Wow how time goes by.

I remember going to this same train show around 4 -5 years ago. If you could get some pics of some of the stuff that is going on there when it comes around that would be awesome. It was a good time when I was there. I picked up an MRL SD40-2 and an SP Trainmaster the last time I went. Good times.

Wow, the first time I went is about the time you were last there I think. Since then though, they have had an HO train layout set up on the stage. In more recent years, they have had a G-scale layout and even an N-trak club that has been there. I think the crowds have been getting slightly larger too. I will see about getting pictures for you, but I may be too busy getting some swingin' deals.
After I've spent my money, I will make sure to get a few for you.
