Heading to Chicago on the Interurban

Couldn't the CPR stremliner cars that come with TRS2006 be re-skined for Western Pacific California Zephyr?
Very nice re-skined F7A & B in WP already exist but not on the DLS.

Are you sure? I'm willing to bet a copy of Trainz Classics that they are.

Yeah, I know for a fact that there are WP F7A & B units on the DLS. Actually, aren't they under your username magic?

The WP F7s I found on the DLS had a paint job that I could not find in the book "Western Pacific Locomotives and Cars".

rayonier, excelent!

I miss spoke / keyed. There are two WP F7A/B sets on the DLS. One is very good, the other not so much.

Actually, there are 3. To find mine, you either have to search via my username, or "WP".

Had to dig up some really old screenshots to find these pulling the California Zephyr (I think they're posing on the original Clinchfield). While the photo shows the "B" units with the WP logo on the side, I believe they also carried the name in text at one point. Yup, here goes:

Hmmm, I don't know.....that seems like quite alot to put on the side of the B units. I didn't even know the net was around way back then!

Back when Scott came out with the CZ, the only railroad whose engine weren't already available for it was the WP, so I made 'em. That way you could run the train all the way from Chicago to California (if somebody had actually made the route for it). Longtime (and possibly new) CZ fans will find this site interesting: http://calzephyr.railfan.net/

So now all we need is the CZ consist, right?

By the way, I filmed the last east bound CZ in Niles Canyon between tunnels 1 and 2. My "Niles and Hinton" layout has a camera set up in that same spot. Now all I need is the CZ.

So maybe distribution is okay on Trainz Luvr? Just food for thought. I had these on my hard drive, but the hard drive died. Someone on the forum e-mailed me and said they would e-mail me the files....then I never heard from him again. Can't win with these.

HTH,

Adam

Well Guess What?

Landrvr1 has officially okayed the resistribution of his old content, and plans on uploading it to the DLS himself eventually! Hooray!

*EDIT* - Sorry Guys, due to Computer problems, I can't email the content. However, if you ask around, there are several people who have been sending it out, so good luck. I'm really sorry :(

Great news, Blutorse4792... and count me in.

It would be especially tragic if we lost these precious virtual relics of the old NS; it was bad enough when the prototype was closed...
