Having fun with Jet Sled....

Hi folks

I've been having some fun with the Jet Sled. I did up a small route, laid a single steel bridge and made it into a ramp.

We start at the bottom.

From there it's full speed ahead, we're travelling at over 1100 k/h. We're going to fly off the end of the ramp.

I took it for a run through Robe River route, wouldn't have even taken five minutes to go one end to the other.

Try the maglev!

You have to try the maglev! because there's no friction involved it just keeps
accelerating! i took it for a run on the built-in maglev route (with derailment realism set to none - cab control) and got speeds of 2,500kmh!!!!!!!

you gotta try it!

Or, you could mod the Hotrod F7 enginespec to a top speed of 5000000000 instead of whatever they have listed...

Too Funny..............................Why don't you add invisible track and then it will look life the "Bat Mobile" flying.

Not sure if this was the true intent of Trainz, but our imagination always exeeds the true purpose.

What I would like to be able to do is have a bit of invisible track go straight up vertically. Then it could blast off like a rocket.

Major 2007 Bimp !

Anyone else out there love using the A23 Jet Sled by Alex23, as a high speed (678 mph) track inspection vehicle ?

I downloaded it reciently, and it shows no errors ... but it won't show up in the game !

It used to work ... Does it work in 09/10/12 ?

The Jetsteamsky-Jet Sled has errors that need fixing even in TRS2006.

I can't seem to get the A23 Jet Sled working again ... for some reason it dropped out of Railyard and surveyor ... in the CMP there are no missing dependencies nor errors.

What could cause assets to drop out ?

I checked the config files to see id there has been anything changed in the trainzbuild ... or in the great DLS cleanup.
