3Ds MAX will be my demise
G'day!

Found this while browsing around the RailTasmania page. Thought it look pretty good so I thought I'd share it with you guys. :udrool: :mop:

I hate it how there is hardly any Tassie content. There should be a content pack just chock full of Tasmanian stuff. Most of it is NSW or VR. Be good if some Tassie content creator did this for us Tasmanians! :P

Cheers! :)

G'day!

Some of the ZC Classes were rebuilt into the MKA's. Which is a bit gayish,
because the ZC's were epic! :(

Cheers! :)

Ah yes, the ZP/ZR classes. From what I remember they were mid 1990s rebuilds of ZC class units with new cabs (the ZP has a streamlined wedge shaped cab front, while the ZR has a more 'blocky' short hood, making it vaguely resemble a narrow gauge DL class).

The conversions were successful from what I heard, but because of John Howard's sell-off of Australian National in the late 90's (and accordingly, Tasrail), no more conversions were done, so the ZP and ZR are essentially orphans.

Re, Tasmanian content in Trainz. There is a few items available, namely an X class diesel in two different liveries (TGR Red and cream, and green), and a V class shunter in red, along with a few wagons, and I know there is an M class 4-6-2 available as payware, but that's not on the DLS naturally. But yeah, it would be nice to see more 'Apple Isle' content. :)
