HAM radio tower?

I've often wondered that. Looked for a while, but gave up.

A backyard dipole (or 2) and a vertical for the roof would be nice also.

(Looks at user name...)

Hmmm A beam, A Vertical, A dipole, a tower....

Ah yes, we definitly need something like this. I think a whole communications line is needed....

As long as we're speculating, how about a little shack in the back yard with lots of tiny Heathkit equipment on the table inside?

EDIT: Lots of potential here. A sound file with random static, SSB/CW snatches, and the like.

Hi Don,

will edit this later.

Cheer,

I have been looking for VHF Verticals or interlocking towers and various other uses...

Perhaps we can have a FCC van too?

I had a "Log Periodic" Rotatable array for 6 and 2, built it myself, shame it stayed on the pole when I moved house 25 yrs ago. But since turned my Station licence in.
Sorry Bill can't find any pattern for it now.

Something like this.. I can see a interlocking tower next to the radio tower with a SD70 that's going by. That's something to think about..:mop:

No idea if there is one in trainz - there is one in my back yard - well there should be one it was there last time I checked.

This was not long after moving in, Changed a bit in the last 3 years :)

I live at a quite an elevated location so do not need a big big big tower.

Small selection of the home built VHF Dipoles.

The HF Mast has been replaced by a newer one that is taped for 10 and 6 Meters

G0DRN here, wondering where I can fit one on my route, tend to have smaller towers over here for those lucky people who can actually put one up.
