H9 Download

I downloaded the newly repaired H9 only to find that one of the dependencies is giving me a problem. The dependency error is kuid:523:1972918 is unknown. As a test, I deleted the dependency from the config.txt file and the locomotive downloaded and runs beautifully, except, of course, I can't access the cab, since the missing dependency is Interior. Any suggestions where I can find 523:1972918?

Hi,

As detailed in post 1 of the thread about the H9, the cab is a TS12-only built-in one, from the Y6b.

That's unfortunate for us Mac users, since I started that original thread last January. I guess I'll have to try to fix this myself. I have a Big Boy on TS-Mac. The interior of that should work?

Hi Jim,

Phil Skene, the updater, said that the Bigsteam interior ('bigsteam' is what the interior is called) on the Big Boy should be a suitable substitute.

I substituted the Bigstream interior and it does work to a point. It won't let me lean out the window, as it does in my other locomotives, so it is impossible to back up from the cab. The locomotive is beautiful though. My favorite! My wife thinks I'm nuts. She can't understand how I can find a locomotive beautiful. I don't know, there is something about the proportions of a Consolidation. Anyway, thanks Phil.
