Guess who's back and READY for routes!

That's right guys, I'm back. Dunno ifin I've been MISSED or not, but don't care really. I've got a GREAT new computer(For those curios, specs are: 149GB HD with 10,000RPM speed, and as for other specs memory stuff, AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.61GHz, 1.87GB of RAM Physical Address Extention ) But yeah,I'm REALLY considering Trainz 2006 now, or at least 04(Meh low on money, nothing else is new with that and with 06 that's the latest one for Shinkansens. What I'm REALLY interested in). I know guys, UTC is SO obsolete, but hey I live with it and if ya'll like the routes, just know, they came from UTC. I'll be starting up a new route here assuming I get around to installing UTC. It's good to be back guys, really is! MSTS is great for train ops but has one of the most user unfriendly interfaces for route making EVER. haha. Well, again glad to be back and I see no-ones bothered iwth a 0 Series and 100 Since Conny, meh.

Get TS2009WBE. Most of the TRS2006 content with improved features.

Hey if you bothered to read above, I'm kinda LOW on money here, so 09 is O-U-T out. WELL out of my price range, 06 is closer. Sides I wait till I hear reviews on these programs before buying it. I waited two years before buying UTC actually, checking other sims.

TRS04 should be in the bargain bins. Good stable platform with plenty great routes, plenty great content and most 06 rolling stock can be back-dated without too much hassle.....

And your graphics card...?

You could have a TOP 500 supercomputer, but if the graphics card isn't decent, it won't run Trainz well.

04 is my favorite. Except for the mag-lev and the Wuppertal monorail, it has everything you might need in rolling stock and industries, and the interactive features are worth the upgrade.
After that, I'm not really convinced. I've tried TRS06 and 09, and they seem to be nice upgrades to 04, but nothing worth changing over for.

Well it's a graphics chipset that does a h**luva job at it's job, as I'm on average with stuff like EVE Online(Premium Grpahics), MSTS, WoW, getting 52FPS, so Trainz should be fine but hm ok, yeah, I'll be going for 04 then.

Was a wee bitty surprised at the passing comment on the price of TRS2009. It doesn't seem very costly especially in the light of a pc expense. I found 04 and 06 great value for a modest price. And when my 09 arrives expect that great price to be equallly worth it.

Well when you don't have a job yet and your Comptuer was a Christmas present from your parents, lol. I'll probobly be getting 04 actually since alotta 06 content can be back-put to 04 as Tokkyu said.
