GTA IV Subway Route

Hey,

If by any chance, will anyone release a GTA IV Subway route? Some people were talking about it, I would do it, but my parents wont let me get the game. Will anyone do it anytime soon?

Thats not the best map. Yes it has the track laid out, but it doesn't show what parts are elevated tracks, and what are subway tracks.

Tracks in "Brooklyn", "Queens", "Bronx" and "Upper Manhattan" are elevated. The subway cars look like NYCTA R38. Both cars and stations are dirty and have graffiti. The trains leave the stations BEFORE the doors start closing.

GTA 4 is a great game, the subway system is only on the center map, the two outside maps have elevated track.

Frankfort High is the only elevated station in the center map and elevates downwards into the subway tunnel, you can just see the start of the subway at the end of the platform...

This is what the train looks like...

And this is the train in the station...

Hope this helps

well its rated M, so if your not 17 then of course they won't let you get it.

Parents should do more to follow rating systems, rather then pretending they don't exist, they serve a purpose

not everyone agrees with the purpose they serve, nor that it's as "moral" as it pretends to be!

Really the Game Ratings don't have an Initial purpose because a lot of game places don't ask how old you are and whats the point of keeping M and T games from Children when they can just bring their parents to the game store to buy them

There may be stores with employees that sell M rated games to kids, but (depending on the store) it could mean that employee's job if their boss found out about it.

In theory parents are supposed to know whether their kids would be mature enough to handle the content in that game. Just like kids could accompany their parents to an R rated movie. The difference is that movie ratings are much more well known and I imagine a lot of parents don't really pay much attention to the video game ratings. I know I wouldn't buy GTA games for a young kid. (For that series it might, in my opinion, be a bit much for some teens too. Exactly where I'd draw the line would depend on the particular person.)

So I think the ESRB is doing it's job (how well is debatable at times) but that the parents may not be.

In any event I think the GTA:IV subway would be an interesting thing to see in Trainz. Here's another map, this one nice and big:

Yeah GTA really is a pathetically trashy game. It's not a game, it's just mindless gang violence exploitation and rape...the hell kinda' game is that!? Honestly, games these days...:n:

Actually GTA IV is not like the other GTAs. GTA IV Is about a Illegal Immigrant ho tried escaping from eastern Europe to escape the russians and his Military criminal past and come to Liberty City to live the American dream with his Cousin Roman but as it turns out his cousin is in a lot of debt as it is and has gotten himself in trouble with Russian Loan sharks, So Niko must now have to put his life in Danger to keep his cousin Alive

Yeah that's alright I guess...least there is a storyline. I mean the mindless killing and rape versions of the game. Although I have to say the subway replication is a cool idea..

Uhh that Map is the map of the whole city not the subway. If you turn the map to a 90 degree angle you can see the ugly face

The subway lines are on there, though they are faint and there are some areas where it may be hard to tell where the track is. Diamond shapes along the subway lines mark stations. It does show a better representation of the junctions south of Frankfort High/Low. An easy way to find the subway lines (specifically the yellow/blue line) is to look near the right side of the north end of the middle island. From top down (aka North to South) There's a subway tunnel, a car bridge, and then a subway bridge.

I actually took a look around in GTA:IV and made small map sections that detail where the tunnel ends for the Yellow/Blue are.

Tunnel start on the upper right island:

Tunnel end on the center island:

Note that's only the yellow/blue line. I didn't do anything about the red/green.

As someone above said, there's definitely no rape involved......that would definitely push it way past the M rating.....
Have you ever actually played GTA before? GTA San Andreas is one of the best games ever in my opinion, if you actually play the storyline it is alot less mindless then you assume, sure theres alot of killing but there are not any missions that say "go kill 50 civilians to reach the next level" . The best thing about the game is when in the free roam you can do whatever you want to, sure you can go blow up people with rocket launchers, but if your so inclined you can do many other things as well, drive trains, fly planes, drive boats be a taxi driver, policeman, fireman, truck driver, there's even a camera you can use to go railfanning, which is quite entertaining.
Dont write it off because of what youve heard, try it for yourself.

GTA IV in trainz

Too bad it doesn't have the GTA IV effects when you wreck a car and you try
to start it and your character is like

"c'mon, start"

lol,
