Ground smoke/fog effects

After asking a few times unsuccessfully on youtube as to how these fog effects got used in Trainz, I decided to post in the forums. For those who might not understand what I'm asking, I have two links to Youtube for those who wish to view it. First link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PEIEp0HeTQ And here is the second link, to a different version with real smoke effects. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYs4C99Dy9E the first is a Thomas the Tank Engine remake in Trainz, and the second is an actual episode, Season 5, Ep. 128, for those who wish to look it up. I had an idea to make a route that could be merged with another for a branch line, but I needed the ground smoke/fog/mist effects for it. If anyone could help me out on this I would be greatly appreciative.

Fog & smoke effects

Fog
In the first video (very clever!) it looks like a low cloudy setting (just before the snow or rain starts), has been chosen on the weather control. The effect seems to have enhanced by using a slightly darker (dawn or dusk) time of day.

This thread covers quite a few other fog effects.

Smoke
Try a DLS search. There are several.

Black smoke ground <kuid:101031:60048> by Richo is a good one. Be sure to check the UTC box when you search the DLS to find his series, or they won’t show. When you view it in game, leave it for several seconds and it will cycle around in a changing, swirling motion.

Thanks. I had wanted to make a scrapyard but I was at a loss on how to make it spooky at night. And since I had a scrapyard route planned, I was hoping to find these effects so they could be used in the route. Now I have enough information to start creating a route plan.

There are some mist and fog effects on the DS, even very misty waterfall ones as well, but you will need to check the 2004 option before you search.
