Is there available a ground signal which uses Bloodnok's theatre letter's and number's thanks.

I haven't seen one yet, although I haven't actually seen a ground signal with a letter/number board above it on the UK railways either.

The only one i have seen Shane is near where i live, at Goole station East Yorkshire. although I work on te railway as a signaller (lucky me!) cannot say seen anywhere else. I used to have one on trainz a couple of years ago until a pc malfunction losing all my content.

Perhaps I need to get elsewhere on the railway network then. Have you tried contacting Bloodnok or possibly nexusdj regarding making such a signal?

Good idea. I may be able to make use of such a signal if it does get made. Be aware that it may be very difficult to contact nexusdj though as he does not accept PMs.

Shane foundone, it's by nexusdj sig 4a dorman LH floor mounted Kuid number 45317:2174. just tried it with Bloodnok's theatre numbers works great Thanks again Shane would not have found it without your suggestion.

Ah, by "Ground Signal" you mean a normal signal without a post, rather than a GPL - ground position light - signal...

While on the topic of the ground 4a signal, can these be set up somehow so they are simply a ground level repeater of a gantry signal?(Or even the other way round!)

Just need to mount a normal 4A signal on a short unattached length of track, bury the track so just the head is above ground, and use the signal link object. Only problem is that it needs to be set up in the session layer, not just the map...

Interesting. I was actually beta testing a ground position signal which utilises the route indication by letter/number. It essentially uses a smaller version of bloodnok's theatre indicator. It is not complete as far as I know and I have been unable to contact the creator of the signal recently which is a pity since the beta I have throws up a bug.
