Great Winter Routes

Just like to hear some of everyone's recommended winter routes that are available on the DLS or elsewhere. I still have "Sandpatch Christmas" from the guys over at TPR and it's one of my old favorites.

It's going to be winter here in North America before you know it and we need to get in the mood.

Well, a very well made little local route situated in snowclad Great Britain is the:
WELNEY & UMNETH TRAMWAY,<kuid:254397:115113>, build 2.4 by Lord Claud Hamilton
For content not on the DLS see the tread of the same name in freeware Anouncements.

Greetings from nighttime Amsterdam,

Jan

Hi Everybody.
Apart from the above route, if you need to get the mood for winter can I suggest the Glen Millar Band great wartime rendition of " in the mood".

Terrific music then and in my opinion still is now.:hehe:

Bill

Oh and by the way, greetings from damp, cold, dark and very wet Britain. We are certainly very much in the mood for winter here

The only thing winter is good for is keeping the brewsky's cold, and skiing.

I find that changing the time of day to early or late makes a snowy route less blinding, and more fun to run. Possibly turning up the gamma at night also.

Work, cold & snow are 4 letter words that should never be used.

On TPR there is a Sandpatch Winter route.
