Great sounding locos by emcnally

I recently replaced my video card. When I reassembled my system, I forgot to plug in my speakers and powered subwoofer. Really, really bad steam loco sounds.

I think he is not asking “where can I find a random loco”.
Maybe you have a more specific / useful answer? ;-)

I rarely use sound, so I can’t.

If you look at the dependencies for those two locos you will see they both use the same sound library <kuid:219472:100416> Alco 251 B V16 WDM2 engine sounds by Nikos1. You can then search for other locos that use the same library by looking for "dependants" of that asset. I'm sure this search only works for installed locos.

But, if you are just asking about any locos that users think have a great sound then it becomes a bit subjective. i.e. what I like may not appeal to you. In that case I'd just look for locos by better known authors.
