Are you running Vista? GMax is an old, old program and is not certified to work with Vista. I know people have been lucky to get it to work but you have to turn off a lot of "features" and it must started as "administrator".
Like John just said, use why not use Blender. Seems like a far superior package anyway.
Thanks.
I restarted my computer and Gmax worked. I guess i'm lucky, because I have Windows Vista.
I also downloaded Blender, both programs take some getting used to.
Sparky15 - that's an interesting publication. It's quite large (118 pages at 24 meg) but it covers a lot. I'll list it with other Blender tutorials on my site (see sig) and credit you with supplying the link. That will take a few days.
Hi John,
Glad you liked it. I found it a pretty good primer for Blender.
I had a look around your site, looking pretty good, a nice project you have going. No need to credit me with anything. I just hope it helps someone else out like it has me.
Also I have a few other places I go to. I'll see if I can get them to you later so you can see if they're worth linking to or not.
