Give nerds their own private carriage

The nerds ought to just do what the rich folks on Chicago's north shore do and pay the railroad to haul your own club car.
I think NJT has a similar set-up.

The old B&M had a private Budd Liner (Budd RDC) for the folks from Weston, MA because they were too good to associate with the rest of the public.

Up here on the MBTA, we have WIFI on most of the commuter trains now and on one of the longer routes one of the community colleges teaches classes. With more and more people taking the train, and with longer commuting schedules, why not setup a conference center or tech center for those that need to get work done privately. There would be fewer seats, however, they would be replaced by booths to plug in equipment and lay out paperwork.
