Ghost Engine

For an unknown reason an engine has "disappeared". The FIND process shows a track location but no engine. Digging beneath the track shows nothing. Changing track shows no change. Removed the track but FIND still goes to the same location where the track was. Removed the engine from the route and the database. FIND continues to locate the "buried" engine. There is probably a simple procedure but........????

Very occasionally happens to me - not enough reproduce-able cases to identify a cause though. If it is a unique loco (only one of its kind in the route/session) then my remedy has been to use the "remove missing assets" option from one of the command menus. So far that has worked.
