Getting rid of a Trainz Helper 2004 graphic ?

Just to advise that I have successfully got rid of the offending image.
I found it as the following :-

TRS2004/cache/banners/auran/trainz_helper0.jpg

Deleting this graphic solved my problem.

That is a TPR banner that was made a long time ago. This was at the time that Auran told creators that they could upload a banner for the Trainz Helper to use. Why it shows up like this is beyond me. I tried to get the folks at Auran to look into it but they couldn't find any reference to it. I was actually threatened one time to be sued for spamming some guy's kids computer. This is some sort of glitch with the download helper wanting to pull up that banner. The banners were supposed to be a certain size as well and this banner that shows up is far bigger than what it should be. We have no idea why it does this and the best thing to do is to go into your Trainz folders and look for this image. Rename it or resize it. I had to resize it but can't remember what the dimensions were now. No offense to anyone but this is a glitch on Auran's end and not ours.

The image is prone to re-appear if deleted - I assume if another older TPR product is downloaded from the DLS. Best fix is to re-size, should be 320 x 60...

Technically, it is considered spamming and should be removed completely. If it does re-appear after deletion, then it's considered tampering.

Thanks to all for that info. I have deleted it but will keep a look out for it reappearing again. If I remember correctly I visited the TPR website not so long ago and wonder if just accessing the site can have that result as its certainly a TPR banner. If I am wrong then my apologies to TPR.

Dermmy has the rough size needed.
A definite way to insure it never comes back is take a screenshot in TRS and cut it down to 320x60, save it as trainz_helper0.jpg in the folder you found it in. Next time you run Helper, it will show this banner, I've done it and had no problems since.
The old banner I believe part of the TRS2004 install. Every time I installed mine it was there. And if you have a real early build, then you see why it was so big. Before updating my '04 to SP4, the DLH window is really wide and the banners appear on the side not the top, the area for them is big enough to accomidate this large banner. Once I updated to SP4, the DLH window width shrank, the banner was moved up top but the image size didn't change, creating the problem.
Just resize it or replace it with a scene you like.:)
 
...Or stop using Helper and switch to one of the other (free) download utilities like Trainz Downloader Pro or Trainz Agent. They are better and faster than Helper anyway.
