Geographically reposition a railroad design

Hello to all.

Perhaps you have a solution for me?

I managed to get a design of a railroadnet, originally designed in coraldraw.
I have the design in the format cdr, dxf, pdf,jpg .
Using Transdem, I tried to import the dxf-format. However, I received the message that the road was outside my DEM.map . My first reaction was - there could be something wrong with the geographical positions of the elements within the design.

On the www I searched for a tool to figure out how the positions of the tracks, cities, etc ... were placed within the dxf-file .

I found a software program ( trial-version ) of ExpertGPS and with that program I noticed that the geographical positions of the cities, tracks, etc ... were incorrect.

Is there a way to geographically reposition all elements within the design using a non-expensive software program?

I have no experience with coreldrawn, autocad, or other designers softwareprogram?

Thank you.

Best regards

Kurt.

G'day Kurt,

From a compatriot in exile,
is the drawing in 3D or just flat with contour lines?
If that is the case you probanly could manualy re-located the misplaced features, by cutting and pasting in any drawing program, however I cant say for sure, not having seen the drawing in question.

De groetjes vanuit Australia.
E.C.
