Yea I found that very odd to. I wonder why, I thought they were just gravity fed. Unless perhaps there is some sort of power that is captured on the downward run that feeds power back into the grid.
It was a very nice ride. The views from it, and the top of the mountain were spectacular.

It was shocked to find that there is actually an amusement park on top of the mountain.:hehe:
