Freeware Release - VIC/NSW BQIX Container Wagons

Hotbox is thrilled to announce the release of the long awaited SSR BQIX Container flats!

Originally built by Matty (fergotrainboy) whilst he was still a Hotbox member, he has very generously allowed us to release them and provide support for them, and we can not thank him enough! These wagons will be appearing on the DLS very shortly under H222’s author ID, otherwise they are already available on our website. 3 versions are included: 1 BG variant and 2 SG variants with slightly different body changes. They all include weathering, prototypical check letters and are industry active, utilising our new Hotbox 40ft containers and other commodities.

If you’re trying to mock Hotbox for uploading freeware T classes that require a built in asset from TRS22, then we will bear that in mind next time we have freeware offerings to release and may have to reconsider!

We are glad to announce the release of the Victorian Railways Series 4 T Class locomotives for Trainz Simulator!

These locomotives feature a wide range of advanced scripting, custom cab, PBR textures, weathering and sounds. Every livery and variation of the Series 4 version is covered from their build date in the 60's to today. These are also now available on the DLS.

I am not trying to mock Hotbox for uploading freeware at all, I consider Hotbox organisation as agile creators of content of high quality, which doesn't need any deceptive business practices for selling their creations for sure. I just wondered, how the locomotives content requiring 40 bugs payware route to be bought can be called freeware. Now I see, I was probably wrong in my opinion, it seems that locos require some kuid(s) built-in in TRS22. Anyway, I am sorry for my audacity ;-)

The Bairnsdale-Orbost line is included in TRS22 as a built-in item. It is actually not able to be purchased outside of TRS22 or Trainz+.

The Ts are effectively a 22+ item because they require TRS22 built-in content, however were uploaded with a TRS19+ build number in case the T Class interior ends up on the DLS - but that is not up to us, they are N3V’s assets.
