Hi all,I have the -freeintcam in my trainzoptions file.It works fine but I would like to zoom in/out much faster. It takes forever to zoom in on an object I want2 zoom into.Is there a key or button to speed up the zooming?

Freeintcam does roam about slow ... I do not know if it can be sped up.

I generally use it as a screenshot taking device (to get low angle precise shots outside of the cab of a loco).

If you lay a temporary, long, and high gradient section of BNSFInvisatrack, and use the cab view (freeintcam) by driving the a23 Jetsled, you can move & roam around between 1mph & 700mph to take photos.

Ok thank you.

The thing to remember about freeintcam is that it is not actually zooming. What you are doing is moving your actual viewing position in the cab, as you can see from the coordinates in the bottom lefthand corner. The re-calculations needed for this probably account for the lack of speed. Remember it is primarily designed for moving around in the cab. Many of us use it for finding the values needed for extra cabview points. If you add extra a.outsideview points these do zoom and I find more useful.

Hi Gents
Your Thread has been pointed out to me, but I would like you to consider my problem with a DLS EMU where the camera through the windscreen has been set too low. May I refer you to my Thread under 2004 questions re "BR Class 304 EMU Problem"
:D
